People have been asking me how I draw my anime eyes so i've made you all a little tutorial thing =]It's just a sketch but hope it helps.

lol, i have trouble making eyes the same size on both sides.

If you draw one eye and then trace over it onto tracing paper, you can flip it over and use it as a reference for the other eye

I'm still not entirely sure what you don't understand about them though so i'll just say this ..

No, you're not rambling. I just never understood if there is a specific rule for the highlights or if you can just add them however you want.

Highlights are generally added in the upper half of the eye, but which side they're on is up to you, it depends where the 'light source' is coming from

ok, but if the light source is from the right would highlights be on the right? i think a lot of artists don't care specifically and do the highlights however they want.
