Description
For months, I've been working on submitting a comic strip for syndication, a gag-a-day called "I Don't Know". For my samples, I created 30 black-and-white panels, a few colored versions of some panels, and a series of character pictures. For your viewing pleasure, I'll be uploading them here, one at a time.

This is Character Picture #2: Spirits.

It was accompanied by this text:

"Despite Nature having come first in this line-up, a really big part of this comic is fantastical, and the various creatures that dwell within that adjective. Like these guys, the Spirits. Naturally, “spirit” is a broad definition applying to a variety of beings (except ghosts; they’re later), and the line-up reflects this. There are celestial paragons, such as the angels, djinni, and Long (read: Chinese dragon, which totally counts). There are the Fae, from both the Seelie and Unseelie courts (the green pixie and the brown goblin, respectively). Even God, the ever-loving Father who Art in Heaven, fits this category, although he is of the Holy kind of Spirit."
