Description This photo reminds me of the "fast-forward" recordings of blooming flowers you sometimes see on TV. You know the ones where the plants grow, start to develop and then pop into flower very quickly, all fast-forwarded into a few second video, often with clouds speeding across the sky telling that a couple of days of recording has been compressed into a short clip.

Well, it's as though this shot captures the exact moment the plants spring into flower. I think that the small DOF and the perspective make it look this way, possibly even the uneven lighting (see comment about clouds). Then again, maybe only I see it this way

It really does look that way and I really like it to seem that way. It's like you caught the very vitality and climax points of any flower and you took a picture just for all of us. It really is truely remarkable, wonderfully done keep up the good work I'd LOVE to see more!

Hehe, yeah I see what you're getting at with the 'exact moment' At first I couldn't see t, but yeah... they do look like they've just popped open.
