Finished this painting, just in time for Halloween!!
This was by far the hardest to edit digitally due to its massive size!! However, I LOVE how it came out- both the original AND the digital file!
Four years ago, I was suffering with the worst depression of my life. Around that time I drew a piece that featured Little Red Riding Hood (Found here: www.deviantart.com/rowannorth/… ), tattered and torn with her back to the viewer, surrounded by wolves. It was a helpless feeling that the piece portrayed.
Now, years later. I've learned to face my demons. And similarly, Red has learned to face hers.

This also doubles as art of my OC, Emily, otherwise known as Little Red Copperhead.

Done with watercolor, with a touch of colored pencil and gel pen. Original uses mica based watercolors so it shifts gold in the light.
