Name: Harland, an English name derived from a Norman French byname for someone given to stirring up trouble, from the word hareler, meaning "to create a disturbance," hence "trouble-maker."

Personality: Harland is a prankster and a thief. He loves to trick others and play some of the nastiest pranks on them, things anyone else wouldn't try to pull. Creek in the Wind(number 25) doesn't like Harland at all. While Creek loves others and is sweet to them no matter what, Harland takes up the company of their misery in delight. As a victim of bullying and abuse, Harland was always teased for the extra set of ears on his back and the fact that his back left leg doesn't work properly. He can always be seen limping on it as he walks, with his foot outwardly turned in a strange way that isn't considered normal by any means. Others didn't seem to realize that as they would talk about him behind his back, he could still hear them because he has an extra set of ears on his back. With four ears, he can hear the slightest thing from a very far distance, so talking about him behind his back was exactly like them saying it to his face and he always knew what others were saying. As he got more and more bullied, Harland decided it was his turn, so he grew up hating others and always being alone. A past with an abusive, alcoholic father made everything worse for him as he couldn't escape the torment at home or anywhere else. Harland also takes to petty stealing from others. He'll shoplift tiny items that wouldn't necessarily be noticed, and will take things from others when they're not paying attention. Harland, is, unfortunately, also violent. Because of his life and how he's been treated, Harland has plans to go into his school and shoot other students there, in a very similar, scary situation to The Columbine Experience. No one knows of the plans that he hides away in his basement, the guns he's building and the layouts he possesses of the school and exactly what he's going to do. Harland keeps a secret journal unfolding all of his plans that anyone could read....if anyone could find it. It's so locked away you would have to have a mind like Harland's to know where it is. Harland possesses a very clever mind with the ability to remember everything he sees, hears, reads, touches, smells, anything. He has what is called an Eidetic Memory and is very smart because of it. It is unfortunate that his wits, skill, and cleverness all seem to be leading him on a downhill path of destruction. As Creek watches from a distances, he hopes that there's someone out there who can help Harland live a normal, happy life. Someone who will love him and protect him, and maybe, one day, make him okay again, because in the end, all Harland is...is broken.

My thought behind this is that it has a triple meaning (I feel clever )
1) Slug, like the creature wich is the way I plan to draw his tail and his overall body type has him close to the ground
2) Slug as in a bullet. His species is able to rool into a ball and move at speeds close to that of a bullet (kind of like sonic I suppose)
3) The word slug can also be used to describe the large fire in a train that would run it. In the case of this little guy that refers slightly to his colouring but also to his boisterious aditude

Personality: Slug is part of a very pack oriented species so he is very sociable and, because of growing up with so many brothers and sisters (14) and needing to be loud to be heard, quite boisterous. His pack gives him the support for a large aura of confidece to radiate from him, it also is the cause for his sporting a notalwayssobecomingonhim bravado. His is fiercely determined and loyal to just about anything and anyone, but doesn't feel anything other than this towards females (He may or maynot be gay{haven't decided yet} but hes too young for anything lovey-dovey to be going on anyways! ). He isn't stupid but his intelligence level is strictly average. He is very logical and level headed with his decision making so many in turn look up to him despite his age.
Likes: He LOVES food and its given him a little bellie but he'll say its muscle XD

This also leads to him become quite headstrong and he tends to display it in a very brasin way.

inquisative-palger always had an interest in everything. he didnt get into truble by exploring, he just wanted to know how and why certain things happen. he would sith by a big windiw and watch the world go by, and piece together the way the world around him works.

quiet-palger learned that most things arre learned by watching and listening. if he squawked, how would he have learned that the sweet twinkle came from the metel cone in his cage?

thinker-if he just listened, palger would have all this information, but not know what to do with it. becauz he actually thought about it, he put together several pieces and created the answer to his question.

bio: palger was the runt of his nest. th elast one born and the smallest. his older brothers and sisters were much bigger than him with silky jet black feathers. his parents thought he was unhealthy because of his blue, firey feathers. so, as soon as he could fly, he was kicked out of the nest. he didnt go very far, as the nest was in a barn in the middle of country. he made it to the road. as he was struggling to fly, he passed over a truck with three half drunken teens. the laughed, took a bb gun out of the trunk, and shot him. he was left on the road to die. but, about 10 min later, a quiet, intelligent, half goth bookworm, known as annabelle leee or abl, happened to find him laying on the road. she often walked along this road, so shhe pivked him up and quickly took him to the vet, using her many hidden shortcuts. thee, the vet did his best, but the bird would not be able to ever fly well enough again to be released into the wild. due to the girls book, she took this as an omen and then adopted this mysterious bird. because of her removed prsonality, and the birds life of outcast, the two quickly became friends. the girl named th ebird palger, on behalf of the book that inspired her to adopt the bird, edgar allen poe's the raven.

Ever since she moved from her home planet, she has been exploring Earth with a passion. She has an easy time trusting people, but if you lose her trust, it's very hard to earn it again. If you lose her trust, she will either try and hurt you, or just ignore you, depending on how you hurt her. She is curious beyond belief, and sometimes gets caught trying to get out of the house at night to explore. She is also very talkative. She occasionally breaks into song for no apparent reason, for she has music playing 24/7 in her brain. She is incredibly intelligent, and likes to help out around the house, often doing the dusting with her tail.

Info on her species: Aikarus are a very intelligent species, and take pride in cleanliness, and often move things around with their tails. Their aging process is about 3/4 that of a human. They get to be about 6-7 feet tall for males, and females tend to get to about 5-6 feet tall at the shoulder, and they weigh about 300-400 for males and 200-300 for females. They have the ability to speak, and can stand up on their hind legs, but because of their size, and the size of their homes, they prefer to walk on all fours. They have opposable thumbs, so they can grasp their food.

They get to be about 6-7 feet tall for males, and females tend to get to about 5-6 feet tall at the shoulder, and they weigh about 300-400 for males and 200-300 for females. They have the ability to speak, and can stand up on their hind legs, but because of their size, and the size of their homes, they prefer to walk on all fours. They have opposable thumbs, so they can grasp their food.

However, once put under stress, she changes drastically, becoming a nervous and trembling mess. Despite her excitable, playful demeanor, she's actually rather smart, thus labeling her considerably high on the theoretical food chain. Isn't very large, height-wise, but doesn't let that put her down, instead using her small size to her advantage. Is very swift, choosing to flee from place to place instead of staying in one general area.

Personality : Scherazade is a cautious creature. Limber and agile ; Doesn't treat strangers nicely. But once she opens up, she can be a cuddly furball. Adores young ones. Has quite an appetite for berries and fish. She is usually alone in the wild, solitary. She craves for love and attention if she has an owner. Has a tendency to purr when around her owner. Basically like a cat. Loves round and furry stuff. She does not like to be toyed around with or cold areas.
