Description
I named this photo "saved" because the little one was actually saved by me. Earlier today I was outside,watching my cat play in the garden when I saw her jump up in the air and start running with something fathered in her teeth. I followed her until she dropped him down for a sec,long enough for me to grab him and save his life. Imagine my surprise when I realised that the bird was alive and "intact" with not even a scratch. Right now he's sleeping folded in a warm,fluffy towel, in a small box next to my bed. Anyway, the cat got banned for this and she's gonna sleep outside tonight

Cute! S/he looks grumpy, battered, and freaked out. I'm not sure whether to congratulate you on capturing that emotion or the poor bird for portraying it so naturally. You've also got it centered just right, with the edge blur working to your advantage in making the bird the focal point.
