That's kinda true. For me, it stopped being special when even Kairi got one and it was revealed there were HUNDREDS of Keyblade wielders before... God knows how many haven't been revealed yet, or who's gonna get one next.

I like the comic strip it's very funny. Not to spoil it for anyone but in kingdom hearts birth by sleep it shows how riku, kairi, and sora all become keyblade wielder's.

....Most of the people with keyblades makes some sense. Xion, Roxas and Sora are all part of/basically the same person, so yeah. Roxas can wield two because he unwittingly absorbed part of Xion. Riku was the original choice for the keyblade, the original 'chosen one', so yeah. And Mickey got the darkside's keyblade.
...Kairi doesn't make sense though. Plus her's is all flowery and girly and shit.
