This makes wonder now: How did Professor Oak have him in a Poké Ball in the first place, since that seemed to only have happened in the pilot episode in the series (I'm not counting Mewtwo's Clone Ball in Pokémon the First Movie - Mewtwo Strikes Back). I think I remember hearing this (though I can't recall the source), that Ash Ketchum's Pikachu is actually generally scared of being in a Poké Ball and another time within the series, Pikachu stated it wants to be by Ash's side in any conflict. Stubborn Pikachu, am I right?

Oh? A Pikachu with hair that puts Sparky the Pikachu's hairstyle to shame. Even though I'm aware many Pokémon can understand the language of man, I shall take the consideration of speaking to you in your native tongue. Please pardon my questionably accurate "Pokémon language" as I've only been taught a number of words and expressions by an unspecified number of Pokémon (three of them were Pikachus). Okay, here I go... *Clears throat* Pika, pika-pi pika pika Pikachu?

*Clears throat* Sorry. I admitted in advance I'm sloppy in the language (jeez those Tekken fellas make this kind of thing look WAY too easy) so I'm sorry if it was just awkward or I said anything otherwise offensive in any way. You do kinda remind me of my old Pika Pal that still lives in "my house" (what that's suppose to mean is a long story in itself), though now recalling it, I miss that little guy. Disregarding the unresolved troubles of the past, I was serious about the hairstyle. That's one groovy look for a Pikachu.
