Take Back The Fortress - Concept Art for The Resonance Gloves

"The Resonance Gloves are strange devices with unknown origins, their blueprints having been found in the cursed tome of Sol in Umbra. The Resonance Gloves - abbreviated as R.A. Gloves - were designed by the nameless author of Sol in Umbra as weapons against the Shadow Blight. The R.A. Gloves are capable of holding onto multiple Resonance Arks at once, allowing the wearer to effortlessly move between the six elemental magicks. These gloves are extremely durable and flexible and can double as armor, protecting the wearer from incoming attacks. The R.A. Gloves also house a communicator in the forearm, allowing users to radio other wearers from any distance. These communicators can also hone in on the location of Resonance Arks, which can be used to track other wearers should the communicator fail. Because of the danger they pose to the Blight, the R.A. Gloves are vulnerable targets. To combat this, the R.A. Gloves have a built in defense mechanism when the wearer is threatened. The glove will expand into a vambrace that covers the upper arm and locks around the shoulder, creating a compressed piece of body armor that is nearly impossible to remove without excessive force.

Four prototypes would eventually be built by Medic and C. Medic during the events of Take Back The Fortress, allowing them and their respective Heavys to easily wield the newly discovered Resonance Arks against the Shadow Blight. However, these prototypes would eventually prove inefficient and would later be upgraded and improved by Engineer under a new name - The Ark Gauntlets."
