Description
Eleanor is a Unnumbered Prototype to the GWR 1361 Class of locomotives, built back in 1909 by the GWR Swindon Works as a test prototype to see how she can do when shunting trains along with the nearly identical GWR 1392 Class of locomotives. She proved to be better than them so that prompted George Jackson Churchward to build 5 more of the class. In 1925, Eleanor was quietly written off the list of GWR locomotives and then was sold to the NWR as one of his own. As soon as she arrived on Sodor, she was painted Works Grey and a few days later she got repainted in NWR Red like James has. Then Sir Topham Hatt assigned her to shunting jobs around Knapford yards arranging cars for other engines to take away for their jobs. According to her, she has a IQ of 200 and is Sodor's smartest engine, knowing how to put things right. Nowadays she works the Knapford Station Yards arranging trains and loves being part of the Steam Team.OC by me
