Probably my favorite television show of all time, THE SHIELD really hit me as just great drama. While I don't exactly agree with the END of the series, I loved the show through and through, and knew there was no easy way to end it.

Here we have Vic Mackey, played by Michael Chiklis, who was just a haunting character. Evil to his core, you still felt for him when it came to the demons inside creating the life he was leading, and the family he tried to protect from those deeds.

I don't think ANYONE could have been the character that Chiklis was...and I think they could bring him in to take over for Keifer Sutherland, if they wanted a new main character on 24 that you could believe in.
