Eve was greeted by the two techs who were going to make the changes, Dr. Pantajali and Dr. Clarke .After running a series of scans to make sure that the shell replacement would be successful, Dr. Pantajali asked "Ready, Eve? We're going to start if you are."
With some trepidation, Eve said, "Ready."
Dr. Clarke said, "You'll feel an injection on your right side. Since the rest of you is covered in poly, we'll need to do it there. It's to make you sleep while the replacement routines run."
Dr. Pantajali pressed the start switch.
