Stupid title but meh.Haven't been on Neopets lately but I had this idea and decided to go with it. It's a shame really. I liked Neopets but they cluttered up the site and redid a whole bunch of images just making them worse and it all became a bit too unpleasant for me.
You might not get the joke if you don't know the site.

I like how the comic came out! Awesome as always. You've raise a point too. Why do people donate that kind of money?
I still visit the neoboards from time to time mostly to RP and tell ghost stories(children scare easily) - but I'm not sure if that's still allowed, I hear they ban people in the boards for ridiculous reasons now. The revamp was tolerable and what got me away was when my Shoyru got a case of Reptillioritus(sorry if the spelling's wrong.) I think the cure was Cactus Cream - nobody sells it, therefore every time I visit the site my Shoyru has that sad face that stares into my very soul. Seriously, it eats me on the inside. My account is about three to four years old by now.
I used to visit the money tree sometimes too, on that certain time on a certain day where they say that Balthazar floods the Money Tree with Bottled Faeries. Not like I'd remember the exact details now.

About your pet, you can always just take a bit of time and visit the healing springs every half-hour until it heals your pet completely. Or get healed on the wheel of fortune or wheel of knowledge.

Mine are always starving. Every once in a while if I pass through there and I feel like it I put them in the neolodge for some weeks. Insta bloated for a minimal charge.

Yeah, it's kind of an in joke.
There's a place called the Money Tree where people donate items and money (called neopoints) to and you can go there and pick them up, but it's always just junk and the money donations are worthless.
The worst part is that to get one of these you have to click it before anyone else and there's always a ton of people after all this junk for no reason, most likely newbies that keep begging people for items, so you'll probably not even get anything.
So that's it xP And yesh! Hurrey for slapstick violence xD

Lol that Money Tree, I hated it, it's impossible to get something worthy from it. The best I once got from it was a freaking bottle rainbow sand.
It's been such a long time since I visited Neopets, I hate it nowdays, actually.
But are those your pets? Boy they are amazing! an Egyptian Shyryu (or whatever it's spelled), a Fairy something, a Mutant... eh... armadillo thing, and and Pirate Aisha? Cool! Well you have painted pets, the only painted pet I ever had is a Halloween Lupe.
I kinda got tempet to go back to Neopets, but... I'll try to stay away from it.

Yeah, I always found the money tree kinda pointless.
And the onld neopets is indeed dead after they were bought by nickelodeon or wtv. I could deal with the site revamp, I guess, but they screwed up everything else too.
I mean NeoVision? wtf, it's like a REALLY lame youtube of kids doing videos with plushies. And they put all pets with no poses and every color is now a recolor of every other color so we can dress them up. That just goes beyond anything tolerable. Before most colors had they're own poses, battle poses even and stuff. They should have given us the option at least.
Thena gain neopets never wanted to please anyone but the newer crowd, it always felt like they were giving the midle finger to the users who stuck by them for so long.
Erm..
But yeah, I did get around to painting all my pets ([link] ), though I really wanted a pirate. But pirate paint brushes went from 1.5 million to 5 million in a couple of years. Another reason I just gave up.

You know, I haven't been on Neopets for a long long time now, and I didn't even knew they where bought by Nickelodeon. Now that you told me all that, the site sounds like crap.
That Neovision thing sounds awful. That thing that you can now dress up your pets... eh, I don't like the sound of it, sounds the it would kinda promote the furfaggotry. Though I have never seen furry pr0n of NP before, I guess there are.
Sounds like I would not be welcome back.
Ah you have cool pets! And now that I think about it, I used to have a Christmas Zafara, the cute angel form, though I could never manage to afford another paintbrush (and because the Christmas Paintbrush was very cheap, for a praintbrush, at it's time), the Halloween Paintbrush was won in a game of that spooky forest world thing. I gave away my Christmas Zafara just before I retired from Neopets, but I still have my Hallween Lupe, and time later I came back and got another Zafara, I wanted to paint her Starry this time, but retired again shortly afterwards. Oh, and I see that was not an Aisha lol, it was the Bori's Petpet.
I also gave up because you had to spend a million years getting the money for a darn paintbrush then find and win it in an auction.

Yup, it went straight to hell.
I kinda liked the site, it was kinda like a mmorpg in terms of playing with friends, except you don't have to spend 20 hours fighting the same monster to level up.
But the people I knew there quit and the rest of the changes were too much to bear alone.
