Description
The builders, as they are reffered to by the HR, began appearing around two hundred years ago, and are considered part of the latter second generation of Machine Life-Forms.

These colossal Machines, the largest models to have ever been observed, are in fact made out of several interchangable modules, attached behind the main craneal module.

The builders, despite their ominous presence, are not combat Machines, and there are no records of them ever directly harming an HR outpost, neither by themselves nor as part of offensive strike. There have been instances, however, of builders unintentionally destroying supply posts that were located too close to the Machines outer rim of influence.

Builders are basically recicling units. They can singlehandedly demolish whole facilities once they have become obsolete or have been severely damaged. They then store as much materials as they can salvage inside their interchangable modules and go off to a new building settlement, leaving behind only the smallest pieces for the scavenger models to pick back up.

The builders, as their name suggests, also participate in the building of new facilities. Their massive scale and versatile modular appendages make them very apt for the task. They seem to be able to separate and process the rubble and raw materials they collect, so as to turn them into viable building materials. They themselves will then excavate the foundations and deposit these materials level by level, thus building the new facility.
