So, I drew this yesterday and I ran out of space/not used to drawing that angle so the feet look horrible.

This is the fusion between Lapis and Peridot from Steven Universe. And yes, I copied many others and chose Turquoise (I was going to anyway, but it just so happens I'm not the only one lol).

So let me explain how I came up with this based off previous fusions and also my own creativity. We will do this Q&A form. XD
1) Rachel, why doesn't this fusion have more than two eyes and arms? Well, that is because I'm basing this particular fusion off Garnet. Garnet only has two arms. And while Garnet has three eyes, I decided these two will only have two. Why did I do this? Because I feel the balance of the fusion is on par or close to Garnet. They are a fusion based off a wonderful - if not romantic - bond. So I feel that the greater the emotional bond, the smoother the fusion. I could easily be wrong, but that is how I see it. Peridot has made it clear that she is willing to fuse (she tried with Garnet and that was before she was a true Crystal Gem) and now that she's really one of them, I have no doubt that she could. Lapis has already fused, but because that fusion was a mess, it didn't stay. She has built a good relationship with her former captor and I definitely think their fusion would be amazing. They may not fuse all the time like Garnet, but I do think they should fuse on occasion.
2) Rachel, why did you adjust their design a bit? There unfused selves don't have bracelets, those hanging pieces or that ribbon coming from behind. I'm glad you pointed that out. So what do you get when you cross 'water' with 'metal'? This might not be accurate science, but I dun care. So her bracelets are liquid metal that is constantly swirling around her wrist, and it is most likely mercury or something like it. Currently, Peridot is constantly floating something metal, so I took that idea and ran with it. Also, I was going to put the bow in the front, but I decided that I wanted to take from creative liberties. I can do that because Opal does that. She has most of the same design-merge as her seperate halves, but she's not perfectly like them. So I decided that Turquoise would have that bronze(?) ribbon, but it's long enough to hold pieces of hanging metal (that can detach) and also retye on the back and leave hanging as a remembrance to Lapis' first form (and how far she's come) while also easily being used to tie people up (inspired by BNHA/MHA Eraserhead's capture weapon scarf).
3) Rachel, is this the final design and are you going to digitize it? I might adjust it a bit and I definitely want to digitize it. Just gimme some time and I'll try to get that done.
