Stretch my eyes to see
I spy you standing at the end
Business suit clad
Outside a mansion of a house
Beside my favourite car
A motorbike, a wad of cash
All the things ‘we’ dream of
Then I see him, standing there
At the end of the other path
Beautiful scenes surrounded
Holding a baby ape
Its little eyes so full of hope
As he holds it up to the sky
A friend to be passionate with
A planet to become one with
My ambition against my dreams
My love against my passion
Do I care for others?
As I have always done
Or do I take a moment
And think selfishly
