**** I will add more final touches. I got too excited to post this ****This is my first time attempting a serious fanart.
It's also my first time doing a double-page spread, not to mention in full color. Done completely with traditional media
It's also my first time spending over 15 hours on a drawing, ever. I spent at least 25 hours on this, on and off...
It's also my first time drawing more than 2 characters in a drawing.
First time drawing full bodied-characters. So, so many firsts...
The game seemed to go by quietly, but I found it a very refreshing play. Some of it was cheesy but if you can look over that, it's enjoyable.
I wanted to apply Nomura's thick lineart and lanky legs/arms with big feet. I also loved the settings for the game - especially the Udagawa Backstreets.
I could go on and on about this spread; I've spent so much time on it and with it. It really was a learning process.

Every aspect just wows me. The design of the wall graffiti, everyone sitting around playing DS within a DS game...XD

I've been wanting to get this game.
(I'll be getting it around next week. It's being shipped over from China, lol.)
And I must say, nice work with the coloring. =]
And I like the idea to how they're all playing the DS when the game itself is for the DS. xD

All I can say is follow your instincts..? Don't be afraid to not color in solid blocks of color in one single direction. It's okay to try different methods you aren't familiar with out - and be aware of how colors/strokes underneath will often show through because of copic transparency.
