Description
I realised while I was browsing through black art that not a lot of people even dared to draw realistic afros. You'd have realistic rendering for the skin and clothes but the hair would be a simplified version of an afro.

Even tutorials online simplified it, and in my opinion, most of them were difficult to replicate. Honestly, it's really difficult to copy an artist's style, so even though it looked good, it didn't seem very practical. Moreover, the hairstyles usually had bigger curls than a 4C hair texture.

After a while, I found out that Paracosm made a brush set and the results looked pretty good. This is my first attempt to replicate it. It honestly doesn't look as good as theirs, but it's my first steps to finding realistic 4C textures.
