Description
Queen Elsa's traveling inventory will not include any food, drink, tool or weapon. So I was thinking about what can make her a better ruler for Arendelle. The idea that I went with was inspired by Norse mythology; the story of Huginn (thought) and Muninn(memory)- the pair of ravens that bring information to Odin. Explanation will be in my next Deviant . Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
In a way, Elsa is like Odin. It wasn't mentioned in the movie but in the published children book, Elsa spent all of her time in intellectual pursuit (since she was behind the closed door most of her years). So I design Ouinn to be Elsa's eye based on Puffin- the native Norway bird. He will observe the land and sea for knowledge and territory map making.
When Elsa is out traveling, she can bring a sketchbook which has a place for a quill pen. Ink powder is stored above the ice handle of the quill. The queen can make a water bubble to drop some ink in it. To make ink in Medieval time from gallnut, you need to mix the powder with water and boil it a few times. But since Elsa can freeze things, she probably can store that thermal energy to transfer to the ink making process in seconds. With this portable set up, the Queen is ready to embrace and expand knowledge to the people of her Queendom
