This is one of my favorite and most "human" moments of R.E.Howrd's Conan the Cimmerian. The death and fyneral pyre of Conan's beloved Belit, Queen of the Black Coast.I always cry when I read that damn last chapter of that story...

I agree, this was a horrid story. Belit was just some random lay like most of the other females in the Conan stories. It was a pretty cool fight with the monkey bird thing, though.
