It had been a long day. Mauve, who is the pink cyrlings mother, also known as Mae. Was at home cleaning and doing other household chores with the egg in her pouch. All of a sudden she felt it start to hatch. With a smile on her face she went into the family room sat down on the floor with her knees touching in front of her and the egg on her lap.
As the little baby started to chip away at the egg Mae would take all of the little pieces and put them on a towel next to her. Just to try and keep everything clean. After about 20 minutes the baby was on her lap free of the egg and had fallen asleep after eating a little bit of food.
She was pink, very pink with some brown and yellows. Nothing like either of the parents or even like the grandparents, which was odd because the egg of the child seemed to be a slightly more purple color taking after the mom.

While the baby was still asleep a knock could be heard from the front door as Thomas, also known as Tom, announced that he was home. Mae greeted him happily as he entered and came out to the family room to greet his wife.
As he entered he looked down. 'WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT!!", he yelled as he looked down at the pink cyrling. He knew his wife had been pregnant and had an egg, but that was not their child. "It's a cyrling" she said and paused briefly. "Your child".
"No the fucking pink thing is definitely not my child. Our egg was purple. Not pink. You traded them didn't you", he glared are her scowling as the thing started to move a little. No way in the world was this cyrling his child. It didn't look anything like him or family members. Either there was something wrong with them. Or..... "You fucking cheating on me didn't you. You damn bitch!"
