....Um. Where is the preview option?I WOULD put up a [Yaoi Warning] image to be fair to the folks out there who don't particularly enjoy this type of fanart, but some how DA lacks this option now for .JPG and .PNG images. I guess just look away before your eyes liquify or something.

I dont see everyones obsession with painting non-gay Kingdom Hearts characters in gay situations, but whatever. You did a good job portraying emotion, but its not very interesting to look at. Some subtle effects in the b/g would have gone a long way, as well as making a single, strong light source.
It really just looks like a line sketch with colors thrown in..Im not trying to bash you or your work, im just wondering how this got so popular.

Finally! I've been clicking on the farthest number possible trying to get here so i knew where i was when i was commenting! (wierd much? yeah. Pointless and without payback? Heck no! Payback in every second of that picture, and reading comments people already put down!)
I lurve this picture, i lurve your art style, it's all just amazing!
It really is a tender moment, and our lovely little brown-haired-mussed-hair boy just seems so.....shy and unceartain, but knows he wants to do this, and they both just seem kind of nervous about it and the outcome, cause it's like giving in and they're not sure what'll happen next and it's all so awesome cause they're gonna do it anyways because there's this feeling that they just have to have and hold and be near each other. And they damn straight have to kiss each other right now!
-sighs- I wanna go write a kingdom hearts fanfic about those two and a slow and tentative love relationship and....yeah.

A great Yaoi couple. I'm almost ceartain there's a story behind this, where they fall in love and realize their feelings, and even if there isn't we're all subconciously thinking of one. (the background would be so awesome whether it was made for a stolen moment in the halls of a castle, the sunrise at the beach to symbolize new beginnings, or in the dead of night where they stole away to a secret place and meet up. And with it blank it's easier to imagine one to fit what other viewers think should be happening.)

Wow. Anything I say in response will probably be inadequate. I really thank you - it's touching to hear your thoughts on the picture, and on Sora and Riku and that nature of their relationship. For them I see a slow progression, one where the realization of their emotions don't happen for a long time even though their hearts are long since bonded. And perhaps that's where the game's storyline comes in - this is an alternate interpretation of the scene near the end.
They make me happy.

I really love the emotion and tenderness in the pic...but seriously...Riku and Sora? Making characters that aren't homosexuals all of a sudden turn gay is as distasteful as making characters that are gay into straight characters. I am a bisexual male, so it isn't an aversion to yaoi that makes me say this...I am sorry if the post offends you...just an opnion...
Really though, understand that I think the pic is beautifully drawn...there is a tender moment captured there...just not one I understand or condone.
