Characters: Riku from KHII, and Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz from the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children movieA small, small doodle. A silly idea that popped into my head today. What if they were siblings?

this took an hour and has over 1000 faves, and i spend 4 - 6 hours on a picture and just cause it's not kh2 gets no appreciation whatsoever

I understand your sentiments. On DA, it's truly not a place that rates pictures equally based on time or effort - it's not much more than a popularity contest. The things I do and place on DA might not find much place in the real world such as school, a gallery, or a museum. But it *is* a place for all types, amatuers and professionals, to stick their work and hope for comments and occasional ego-buffing. In this system, it's enjoyable to know someone has looked at it, or liked it - and at the same time, somewhat disparing when looking at others who you don't think deserve the attention. But I try to keep in mind it's up to the viewers who fave it, and most only care about the product and not the stesp in production.

you do know people tend to fave stuff like this simply because it's kh2 and ''chibi'', nothing to do with the effort you put in or whether they think it's drawn well or not
does that not bother you at all that people are out there well, struggling on work and producing high quality work and it not being recognised because things like this are more recognised simply because it's kh2?

It's not really up to me if someone else decides to fave it or not. I just put things up. If someone favs it... my reaction will always be "Woo hoo!" Fanart is my work of love so I'm proud of it.
