A series of illustrations showing the my redesigned versions of the characters from Vary Peri (幻变精灵之蛋糕甜心), an obsucre yet weird Chinese show for girls

CHARACTER # 3
Bluebird Angela (蓝雀安琪; Lán què ān qí)

This character in general is more of a love-hate type for me. She is a really bad bitch yet deep inside she is quite misunderstood on some things. When I first redesigned her, she looks really bad compared to the two and decided to redraw everything. Kinda worked out even the fact her outfit is one of the most difficult to design. Her name is the only one who I got confused during translating.

DESIGN RUNDOWN
Base Inspiration: Blueberry Cupcake, Peacock, Chef, Cure Sword (Yes, she got a bit of design borrowed from a Pretty Cure)
Key Element: Redone Upper Clothing, Real Feather Plume, Sword.
Key Detail: Redesigned her hat (seriously original design has a huge heart jewel on top, make it kinda bit top heavy), clothes been redone with a bigger collar and a several plumages. Navel revealed and dress is shortened a bit. Also gave her a sword on top of it.
