+ Energetic: Rai has tonnes of energy! Whether it be a run or lifting, Rai is always able to easily do these tasks with energy to spare!
+ Determined: When it comes to Rai's big goals in life, he keeps at it and never gives up! This bagon always finds a way to keep on track and progress to his goal of flying.
+ Considerate: Rai is highly attuned to others' feelings and makes sure that everyone, including himself, is happy at the end of the day.
= Honest: Rai always gives his honest opinion on topics when they arise, including people. Sometimes it is not always good things, unfortunately, but other times the genuine input really helps with morale.
=Impressionable: Rai tends to copy those which inspire him, which may be good or bad, depending on who he is copying.

History:
Rai was born in Evothalon, from two salamence parents who both worked as sailors, going out to sea regularly, which meant the young Rai was most often left home alone or in the care of a babysitter. However, when they were there for young Rai, they showered their son with praise and affection, even taking him into the sky, on their backs, and having young Rai see the entirety of Evothalon from the sky. These little actions sparked a dream in Rai; to fly. He desired nothing more than to soar through the sky like his parents, like birds and bugs and many other wonderful things. He wanted to feel the breeze rush past him as he freefell only to save himself at the last minute with the beat of his wings, or see the world above the clouds with his own two eyes. These dreams were all Rai ever wanted to have fulfilled, and the little boy was so impatient... he knew he could evolve to fly, but he wanted to fly now!
This led to Rai attempting to train his body regularly, in order to best figure out how to fly. Rai trained his body to help him, taking up running about town at breakneck speeds, training his legs to jump higher and farther. He did anything anyone said which would help him fly, from building makeshift wings out of paper to eating certain foods and excluding others. He interviewed those who were grounded by wing injuries and how to avoid them, to fortify his 'wings' but nothing worked. And it only made him focus more on learning how to fly, with every failed attempt.
Nobody would really take him seriously, everyone treated him like a child and told him that with time and patience, he would eventually get his wings and fly. Even his parents told him to be patient, but for the young boy it only made him upset, and caused him to run off at times to attempt to fly again. Many times this would result in injuries, so Rai found themselves regularly grounded in order to stop him from hurting himself too much. And because Rai was so focussed on flying and nothing much else, many peers his age would tend to avoid or not talk to him, finding him annoying or not sure what to say, especially since many of his peers found flying mundane, and not facinating.
However, one day he met a bird who took him seriously. The unfezant had taken an interest in the bagon which he saw jumping from house roof to roof in the city, attempting to find a way to get up as high as possible so he could fly. Rai almost fell in one of his jumps and the unfezant came in to help him safely get to ground! He introduced himself as Jean, and talked for a while, and for the first time, he'd heard someone say not to take his time, to keep pursuing his dream. And this inspired young Rai, who had until then only heard 'wait'. Jean even gave him a cape, saying that while he works on his real wings to use this cape as his wings instead!
Rai was told that he reminded the man of his daughter, who was about to start running her own rescue team. And this facinated him, a pokemon who could fly? And was like him? That sounded amazing! Rai was adamant to meet his daughter, which by luck was in town at that time. Being introduced to Lucette and her cousin Tracey, he was instantly inspired. Both of them could fly! And they were working on becoming a top-notch rescue team who inspires others as they were inspired when they were little!
Rai insisted that he wanted to join up, to become a part of this. Besides, exploring dungeons, rescuing people, that could help him fly, right? If these two could help him fly, he'd do anything! And Lucette found the young boy to be rather fun, so Tracey couldn't say no. So Rai, the young bagon wishing to fly, joined Amity Wings.
