Ref art for my SA1 Remake vid! Before Zeta's fight, she would challenge Gamma's view and actions. Proclaiming they too are alive. Gamma doesn't understand this until Zeta expresses fear at her death, where he breaks down. But, the trapped animal emerges to thank him. This then leads into the next scene, where Gamma ponders whether or not to end his own life, to free his own captive animal powering him. This added scene I think can add another dimension to Gamma's life making it all the more tragic. It's not just the animals who suffer. #sonic #art
