God, this took way, way longer than I intended it to. I was just gonna do some simple lineless art and then all of a sudden I was doing a kinda painterly style.

Well, I'm still pretty proud of it and I had a lot of fun messing around with Medibang's different brushes. I've used the acrylic brush to shade before but I haven't really used the watercolor brushes. They were surprisingly fun considering that I suck at waterpaints irl.

Anyways, for days 15-18, I drew a cockatrice. It's a serpentine creature with a chicken for a head. There's not a lot of mythology I could find about cockatrices so this design is admittedly a bit self indulgent rather than based on myths. I really wanted to take some inspiration from feathered dinosaurs, but I'm not sure how well I pulled that off.
