When I close my eyes, I see a vision.
I see a beautiful meadow filled with a rainbow of flowers.
A bright blue sky with a few plump white clouds floating quietly without destination.
Within that meadow a young boy would always be standing in the center.
In front of that boy a distance away was a girl, she was smiling at him.
She'd wave and then walk away into a forest that stood at the edge of the meadow.
When the boy tried to run forward to follow her...
A mass of butterflies would take off and the boy would watch as they fluttered around
He then would lose sight of the forest, as if it never existed- and the girl along with it
He would stare into the endless flower-filled field where the forest once stood.
Silently praying to God that the girl would someday return to him. Always, endlessly.
