There was a young woman who had a beautiful voice.
Her voice was that of an angel.
She would sing almost everyday for people and animal alike.
Her beautiful songs would calm the angered and refresh the weary.
There was a man whom the woman loved.
He was no looker nor was he strong.
He was a very quiet- an average man.
But his personality was kind and just as beautiful as the woman's songs.
She would sing for him all the time and see him when she could.
But one day, the woman got very sick and became unable to use her voice.
Even so she still sang in silence from her bed. Always, always even when her voice was no longer there.
She still sang out her song in silence.
She was afraid the man would not love her for she lost her beautiful voice.
So she tried to sing to the heavens for her voice back.
Even so it was fruitless.
Soon enough the man came to visit her, and he watched as she sang her voiceless song.
The man remembering the sound and every word she ever sang told her the song was just as beautiful as always.
The woman who thought she had lost it all was brought to tears.
The man needed no new song to be happy.
The songs of the past where still there within his heart.
Never again did the woman try to sing.
She only listened on as the others repeated the songs she once sang.
The song that captured the heart of her lover and brought them together.
She promised once her voice came back she would sing only for her family.
Until then, she became a silent aria, singing to the gods in a mute voice...
