Amphy is my favorite final evolution Pokémon plus its evolution line is also my favorite in the type, wanted to draw this image as it was a fan are piece that is just simply cute . It had Ampharos blushing while holding an apple....its amazing how creatures with elemental based abilities getting excited over food also the scenery looked amazing and it was fun to draw. In the past I drew both this version and the shiny one but it was before I was posting and one of the drawings got ripped so never got to post them but this drawing was really fun. I have thought about drawing mareep and Flaffy with Ampharos for an evolution line drawing as it is one of my favorite lines to use in Soul Silver plus I think its cool how it loses its wool as it evolves both times. The pile of apples next to the leaves is a part I added myself as I thought it would be cute for this Ampharos to have its own little collection of apples =^-^=.

On my first attempt for this drawing I made the left leg too small and tried to scale it up a bit but Ampharos still came out too small (hopefully if I continue to do more poke posts I can work on drawing at a taller scale). Amphay's design is kind very simplistic but I just love it as yellow is my favorite colour plus yellow is a colour that represents the lightning element in my head which sells its typing. The black stripes add a patter that makes Ampharos's design not feel completely flat and the two orbs are some stand out features, the tail one is keep through its evolutions while the head one is only present on Ampharos that makes it feel more like a step up from the previous two. The leaves very a fun decoration to use in the drawing even though they are just thrown all over the place to be honest, I tried to use a lighter green for the grass part but not sure if it stands out.
