Tis one of Renee Phantomhive's ones and I tried to have RP as a symbol but it is kind of blurry but will make a logo for her in the future, this drawing was a bit of a challenge mainly her hand and legs but honestly I think portraits are a lot more fun to draw when they are challenging. I think its because I'm more of a fantasy artists and it feels amazing to just go all out trying to pull off more realistic features =^-^=, not going to lie part of me wanted to draw this just for the DS. She does a tonne of Love Live cosplays and I almost drew one but I switched to this character since to try something different from Love Live (I have a history of drawing for the series). I also almost went with a head and shoulders drawing but thought the sitting one would be more interesting and the result was worth the choice swap.

The left hand was the starting point as I saw it as a sort of centre point and it was a pain to draw because of trying to draw it holding the DS as wrapping her fingers around it took a few attempts then I wanted to re scale the DS o-o in the end I think it worked out though. Then the legs were an absolute pain to draw as I had absolute no idea on how to draw them out or position them....the amount of failed attempts I had was frustrating I even ended up drawing out the sock section first to try and work on the angle but eventually I figured out an ideal position by drawing them by her hand. I think the hair came out really cute as the pink tones looks really nice, I also used a lilac tone for some lines but I'm not sure if they will stand out. Also in the original image she had her eyes closes which I was a bit worried about drawing but they came out quite well, also random fact I have previously drawn out the trainers she has here for a still life drawing .
