Description
Since I have been back into Pokemon gaming (Etrian Odyssey 3 was something I dedicated to fora bit) I thought why not go back to a Soul Silver Nuzlocke I'm doing where my starter was Chikorita. One of my drawing idea was to draw its evolution line since I have not done one of those in a while although I was not fully set on the idea but today I decided to also try to draw a Chikorita Gijinka. I started a chibi one but was not fully happy with the drawing so switched to a full character version but I may post it later if I think it ends up working. I kind of like the formation, my only gripe really is I feel Meganium is a bit too small but feel its features do work. The gijinka was very fun and probably my favorite part of the drawing as I could image her battling people with her Chiko squad lol.

I started with the character herself and the upper her shirt took a few attempts then from there the other sections were just trial and error till I got the sizes I felt worked. Confession I lack the green tone of Chikorita's body so I used my lime and olive green tones due to their brighter tones and the fact that I barely use them. For an outfit design I used the leafs sticking out of chikorita for her socks and arm bands as the original one I used to help me only had them on the neck so I wanted to change it up a bit. The Chikorita line drawings were pretty easy I just re sized a few times to try and show its evolution progression. Finally something I never noticed till now is Meganiums gets yellow eyes while its pre evolution's have red as its an interesting evolution trait.
