Description
I was not sure about drawing today then suddenly wanted to design two jester like characters that were inspired by Harle from Chrono Cross. I wanted to try and do a sort of rivals thing with Nights and Raela (assuming they are rivals) and Sonic and Shadow as I once tried that but they were human characters in masks which I didn't comit too. The idea was to go for for more cartoony characters, I was originally only going to have 2 points on their hats but felt that would of been too close to Nights and Raela so I had the idea to give them a different number of points from each other then if I make more characters like this I can do the same.

Cresem is meant to have a night theme thus the darker colour scheme and crescent moon designs on his outfit while Aromell is more nature theme, with me attempting to give her flower decorations. I think Cresem has the better body proportioning it's just a lot of the time when I try and draw two characters around the same height I end up using bigger or wider proportions with the second one. I am excited to potentially design more of these characters and sorry for a very late post....my motivation kicked in later today.
