Description
Gangral is a character that I believe can't be recruited until beating the game although he serves as the first antagonist. I was going to save the characters he would be grouped with for drawing last but a support I got with him today was just so awesome so I decided to draw him. He is the king of Plegia an enemy kingdom and he abuses his power to try and convince Chrom's sister to give him the Fire Emblem which results in his people losing their faith in him (although enemies still keep spawning in his battle -_-). His rivalry with Chrom honestly felt like a blood feud as Chrom simply wanted to kill him to save the continent from his terror and Gangral dared him to try it at times. However his first support with the Avatar has Gangral regret his actions as apparently he actually wanted to the continent to unite to fight off the second antagonist who wanted to take over the land. I kind of hope they explain this more in other supports as I think it is a little convenient as Gangral did seem more greedy than losing his belief in his goal.

I love the use of black and yellow for his costume as the contrast between the dark and bright colours is pretty cool and helps to separate the different sections of the outfit. The lining on his shirt has a slight sense of royalty to it which works with him being a king and the points flowing off the top of his cape do give off an olden times royalty vibe :3. One of my favorite things about Gangral is his arrogance as I feel the hand on the hip and other hand on his chest to me suggest he is saying "How could you think such a thing" as he is being called evil =^-^=.
