Description
This is a piece I have been working on the past few days as I want to get the colour quality as full as possible, here might not show the patches of white paper. I was told by my lecturer that I should fill as much space as possible so I have multiple gem like borders where I also wanted to use a variety of gem shapes. Also tried to make it semi symmetrical (if you don't know me then just a heads up I suck at perfect symmetry), the symmetry I aimed for is same colours and same shapes . Also in the center I did 1 single gem then an upside down one above it and a right side up one underneath =^-^=. I honestly love the Persian style of an outer border with small shapes with in it so I took that technique in as one of my lecturers really wanted me to get examples of Persian style rugs.
