Normally I do cake drawings as gifts for people but last night I made the decision to attempt to just do an anime style one which there were not many actual pictures of so resorted taking a screenshot of a gif. I also used a circular cake for its decorations as the strawberries ad mini house cake from it, almost drew that one due to the cute house but the heart cake's sponge section stood out more. If anyone is wondering why the a in cake looks weird it was due to me trying to give it a heart shape....and failing lol. Also put a cloth under it to try and give it a little bit more of a fancy touch also remembered to add a knife cause you know as always feel free to take a slice :3. Another reason I drew this is I feel I have not been progressing my dream of becoming a master cartoon cake designer lately .

Don't know if I have mentioned it before but when it comes to cakes I always draw the top section of the icing first as I feel it makes shaping and sizing the sponge a lot easier. Also at first the cloth was just going to be a flat green but then I remembered back to an anime drawing which had a lime green dress with a cross hatching pattern and how much I liked it so tried to re create the pattern on the cloth. The outer section of the cake has circle decorations which I decided to have as berries, this was taken from the circular cake although in that one I think they are meant to be like pearl sweets. Random fact I accidentally coloured a bottom section of the icing in the cloths colours so just wen't with it o-o my reaction was pretty much "Oh woops" lol.
