Yesterday I wanted to draw another anime style bedroom but finding an exact image I wanted to work from was hard but then I found a Tumblr page that is actually dedicated to anime rooms =^-^=. In my first bedroom drawing I didn't draw the anime character in the room but for this one I drew Kohana as I thought drawing a character sitting on the bed could be a refreshing change plus the outfit was really cute. I think the objects arrangement in the upper right looks a bit off as the mirror and coat hanger look a bit thrown, I feel happy with the rest of the drawing as it does feel like it sets a scene =^-^=.

For this drawing I drew out Kohana's trousers first as I wanted to use the bend of he legs to work out where I was going to position the bed itself which worked out quite well. Initially I made the bed longer but scaled it down but the sketch lines still stand out in the glass section of the mirror but it kind of looks like it is reflecting the edge of the bed (its crazy how some messed up sketch lines can add to a drawing ). Sorry for pretty much only talking about the bed in this description but for me it feels like the highlight as I feel the shape came out really well and is my better attempt at one, the floorboards, carpet and curtains look nice too they just feel like they don't make as much of an impact. Kohana came out pretty cute though.
