Playing Scarlet has been tempting me to do more custom gym leader drawings, I need to look back over a story to figure out the types I decided but the 8th was definitely ice o-o which was inspired by X and Y (I get it's a little suspicions since the new games have the strongest as ice). Her gym's gimmick was it would randomly pick the number of Pokemon that would be allowed in her battle which is something I might drop as I do think the 8th gym should use more Pokemon. While writing this description I realized I probably already named her o-o so got to awkwardly change that if I ever write more.

I wanted to go for a sort of creased dress as I thought it would give off an interesting design, the limted colour scheme looks great here and feels like it matches well with Froslass. I actually was not sure about my sketch of Froslass but after colouring them I think the design ended up looking amazing . The use of sandals for Lazulia was actuall inspired by a drawing I saw on the DA homepage, I think they work really well with the longer dress/
