Description
Persephone is one of three demon generals who are shown attacking a ship with a king at the start of the game, she and another character took on the forms of his children while the third went off on his own. While the other two want to reunite with their king she actually want to kill him and she is increasing her power by taking in excess energy from defeated demons. She also manipulates and Elf who is the Captain of the strongest brigade as he has a lot of hatred due to wanting to be valued by the Princess (who she took the form of) and finding most others below him. I like the varying levels of loyalty between the three generals so I think drawing them all could be a lot of fun, the reason for the more human like form is it apparently helps the generals to utilize their powers more.

For this drawing I drawing from a portrait and battle sprite again with me leaning more towards expanding the portrait's design over matching the battle sprite's pose. I like the mix of blue and purple here it gives off more of a darker vibe which works well with her more evil nature, the gray skin was also interesting to try out, it funny how blatantly none human her and another general looks yet they still get mistaken for the Prince and princess. Stuff like that makes me wonder if the characters see them differently and the version here is just for the players benefit. I'm excited to draw the general who disguised himself as a Prince but the third is gonna be tougher as he had a generic sprite, I may try and make it seem more unique.
