Description
After 5 or 6 years I once again draw the great Ranmaru :3 (can't remember if I drew in 2013 or 14 but the picture was posted in 14), I think he was originally suppose to be female but ever since I first saw the design I assumed they were male so that kind of caught me off guard lol. I drew Dragonair as it is one of his perfect matches in the game plus thought it would be fun to actually try out drawing a Warlord with their Pokémon (he is a junior one btw). He works under the main antagonist called Nobunaga and when he is challenged by his sister Ranmaru kind of hesitates to face her but due to his loyalty to Nobunaga he does take her on. Not going to lie this boss fight took me more than 10 attempts pretty much because of Ranmaru having a healing ability for his team, but his design and character makes him my favourite male warlord.

I pretty much used the same pose as the original with Dragonair being the only difference but I used a thinner style this time which I would say I prefer to the original plus the hands gestures came out really well. I was kind of worried about the colours of his outfit not playing off each other that well and looking too patchy but I would say they kind of worked here (the issue is the purple I used didn't match the original image). Dragonair's tail twisting around its boy was a fun design style to try out here but its width is quite un balances so sorry for that, the head design came out really well though =^-^=, at some point I need to draw its evolution line.
This was a nice and relaxing drawing...especially compared to the actual game :3 so I shall draw a bunch more of the characters .
