Description
Making a custom one layer cake has been on my to draw list for a few weeks but I kept feeling more motivated for other ideas, the original image had a santa's grotto theme but I changed it to a shrine style as I thought it would look cool. I picked green for the icing colour as I thought it would make the building seem like it was surrounded by grass which worked out quite well, the skeet decorations on the sponge are meant to be shaped like the roof. The bottom icing section is menat to be flower decorations which I feel help the cake to look a bit more elegant, I really like this drawing as I feel the theme worked out and I'm glad I decided to go with the shrine style over trying to match the original image.
