Description
Last night I just suddenly felt like doing a drawing of a book on its own, I ended up picking an image of a page being turned as I thought the bending page looked like it would be interesting to draw. Most of the images I wanted to work from were gifs so didn't get a still image, I think the original idea I had was to draw a closed book but the opened style came out pretty nice here. This was what I had planned for today but I backed out earlier as I worried about the drawing not going the way I wanted but felt like doing it as a secondary drawing as I want to do something different tomorrow. I worried about not pulling off the shape of the book but the pages went well, I added more to the cover than I originally planned but I felt that helped although I feel I should of made it a bit wider.
I may try another single book drawing in the future as doing this makes me want to try out a different style/page imagery.
