Description
Ruby was my second Pokemon game so I didn't expect him to be the Champion (the Champion usually being a character you meet multiple times throughout the story). He is one of my more favourite champions due to him being a bit of a challenge despite his team being made up 3 main types while others who have a more varied set of types (all of him team being 2 types made this hard to try and explain). He has quite a presence despite his outfit just being a suite versus most of the others having more over the top outfits. One of my favourite scenes of him was his battle with Alain in the anime because it made his Metacross feel like an incredibly strong Pokemon.

I went with his ORAS design as the pose for his picture looked really cool and the small extra designs were quite fun to draw, this was yet another limited colour scheme drawing. I'm assuming his hair is meant to be gray but I see it as a light blue so I used lighter strokes for his hair. didn't add Metagross as I was not committed to the idea.
