Here is my favorite starter line as all three are just amazing Pokémon , there is a scene in the anime where Mew turns into a Treecko and crawls along a wall and it is adorable :3. Advance Battle and Battle Frontier were the two series that I watched most so I saw a lot of Grovyle/Sceptile battles although I don't remember too many off the top of my head. The main thing I remember was the evolution as Grovyle defeated another grass type as they were love rivals for a Meganium and Grovyle won thinking he would earn their love but they checked on the other Pokémon. He then evolved into a Sceptile but was heart broken so could not bring itself to attack which was a plot point until some episode where Sceptile protected Ash from Beedrills. Ash brought him back in his battle against a character called Tobias in the Sinnoh League and I was so happy Sceptile got to defeat Tobias's Darkrai.

I actually worked backwards for this drawing as I drew out Sceptile first due to them being the tallest so didn't want to draw out the other two first in case I used up too much space for them. Treecko is the one I feel came out the most accurate although the toes were kind of a pain to draw as I kept making them too wide, the hands came out pretty well as the finger bends worked out. I mostly like the Grovyle drawing, not sure why but the head throws me off a little I think it may be down to me making it too small and barely being able to fit its eye in. Sceptile came out a bit too thin, the right arm was a bit confusing to draw due to its bend but on my second attempt I think I got a decent result. I kind of like how Treecko and Sceptile match in colours and are bald while Grovyle has a sort of leaf hair (not sure why but I feel Grovyle seems like the most distant mid evolution from its pre evolution).
