Description
While watching a summoning moment I felt tempted to do a full design of one of the cards from this story with me going for Sage Mai as she is currently Niko's best card. She can attack as many times as field cards are in play with 2 being Niko's current max which allows Niko to go past the usual 3 attack per turn limit. Also since water fields boost Sage Mai basically gets two super strong attacks so she is pretty much a game controlling card so far, I kind of feel bad her ace get's over shadowed even though they are technically better. I don't know if I will do this with other cards I just felt really invested in this idea today (Cause Zushin's summon from Yugioh 5d's is amazing).

I considered matching the pose on the card (she would be holding the staff in the hand on the right) but after looking up a full body reference I liked the staff going across the body. I initially made her neck too long with me trying to solve this by making her face longer than my initial sketch which is probably a decent length here. The floating crystals were originally joined but after drawing one set seperate as I didn't consider it I went "I will just go with it".
