Description
I watched some streams recently of the series she is the protag of (Named after her) and I ended up getting the third game on Steam which has been fun. It is basically a platformer where Kawase can use her fishing rod to attach to walls to climb or swing which has a lot of interesting manoeuvres for example one where you can climb the wall by shooting upwards with the right angle to hit a higher point. Also the levels can have multiple exits that lead to different levels as there are multiple endings although it may just be credit rolls. The creative ways of using the fishing rod is interesting it will just be a bit of an up hill struggle for me since I am not the best with timing but hopefully shall improve.

I picked this image to draw as I like how the side stance shows off her backpack which is another important tool of hers as she puts enemies in it plus they can be collected in levels for lives or just a collectable (depending on the game). I drew her a bit smaller which is making me worry I am getting into the habit of working at a smaller scale again, also her jumper was wider in the reference image with me going with my own take the jumper in this drawing. Also thought it would be cool to draw a transparent upper body shot that was also in the reference image, I think I sort of pulled off the see through look here the colours just could off been a bit whiter. The bag looks a bit more solid though which helps Kawase herself look more see through which makes me happy, this just hit me and I feel prouder of the drawing now.
