Description
This is an introductory piece for Marguerite Bossard, better known by her circus performing moniker of Flare. As you can see, she has pyrokinesis. She's super resistant to extreme temperatures and capable of manipulating preexisting flames, as well as conjuring them herself. Her hair is dyed red, and she's naturally a blonde, hence her eyebrows and the roots of her hair showing. The fire didn't turn out quite as well as I wanted to but it at least looks good. I tried to do the reflective shine of the fire and I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. I've been doing these little classy nudes in the tablet my best friend got me for my birthday in 2018. She leaves tomorrow morning...I won't get to see her again for like 8 months. My heart aches, I am sad, but I will see her again.I don't wanna talk anymore. Hmmm, not what I pictured her hair looking like. It's not bad but at all and still keeps up the classy nude theme very well. And yeah fire is harder to draw than people expect! I'm still annoyed my Mysterio pic was supposed to have green fires and was mistaken for green smoke. These portraits remind me of the ones you see artists sell at Comic Conventions.

I have her hair swept back and kinda wavy, like fire. It is VERY subject to change but did you like the way her hair is colored? It's got a layer of light yellow ink, then some pink, then colored over with red colored pencils. Yeah, idk, fire is hard to look at too. Sometimes it is just a single pillar of yellow.
Myterio isn't an easy character to conceptualize, so a lot of shit can be misinterpreted easily, sadly.
And now you've made me miss going to our local comic con with my bestie. She just, literally just hit the road to her new house, several states away. Sigh. But thank you, that actually makes me feel much better to hear that.
