A major idea that I'm stoked about: Do a 11x14 portrait of the eight main characters of the Dark Beyond story. Pictured above are seven of them, with the eighth still to be designed.

The basic idea I've got is that each character will have a portrait, about like what you see above in terms of placement and framing. Each will be fully rendered in pencil, copic and prismacolor marker, and possibly pen, though as anyone who knows me knows, I hate pens. PASSIONATELY. Anyway, the "Good" characters will be left-centered and given a slight blue bias, the "bad" characters being right-centered and with a slight red bias. The portraits won't take up the whole page, having a blank border on either side. I'll probably end up just cutting them down once I've finished drawing them. Inevitably, this is going to be a costly project, requiring kinko's to scan it and print up some copies for my portfolio (the originals will serve a different purpose, which I'm not saying just yet.)
