Description
This year I'm in the same art class as I was three years ago.
For this reason, there are a few of us that don't have to do the assignments that the rest of the class does.
One day, my art teacher sent a few of us to the theatre to talk to DJ.
DJ, who was in charge of all the props and technical aspects of the school musical, assigned us this project.
We were to paint the designs on these large book props.
We sketched up some designs, got them approved, and then waited for two weeks because the shop classes didn't get the props built as quickly as expected.
There were three books in total (about 7'x5'x4')
I was in charge of Painting the one for Jack and the beanstalk.
I also did the lettering for all three books in my vinyl class.
I worked on this project for three to four hours every day durring school, and almost an entire saturday.
We finished the day before the first proformance of the musical.
I hated this.
