Description
In my photography course, we went on a field trip to Toronto and our teacher gave us a list of all the things we had to take photos of.Many things on the list included photos of people taken without them realizing it (or asking).
If you ask a person for a photo, they will pose. The aim was to take natural photos of people as they are, as you see them.
My partner Trudy and I took three rolls of film. The only person we asked to take a photo of was a biker gang.
Sooooooo many ninja shots.
They were brilliant and very hard to take, some of them.
...
All the film was destroyed by accident.
Goddamit.
So we had to retake them, but we hung out in Oakville instead of Toronto.
This shot was taken in our town square. I climbed up on a wall and sat on the ledge trying to find pictures. This was the shot I found. I like it a lot.
The only frustrating thing about this shot is that two seconds later, a sparrow landed on the edge of their table.
